Underwear from Modal

E-mail Print PDF

People often asks me why modal underwear are more expensive then cotton and whats the difference between the two fibers.

Firstly, the only similarity is that the modal cotton and cellulose fibers are of plant origin. Beyond that the differences begins: The cotton produced just by mechanical means while the modal produced by chemical processes. The micromodal fibers are more delicate then the larger modal fibers.

The easiest thing that you can understand by your self is the extreme softness of the underwear made from micromodal. The soft fabric is extremely friendly to the skin. So friendly that you forget that you wear it. Micromodal has a silky sheen that no cotton fabric can compare it. Also micromodal has more vibrant and rich colors. Both color and texture has excellent resistance to washing. The underwear withstand years.

It has incredible behavior in the temperature maintaining properties. Micromodal keep us warm in winter and cool in summer. It is also excellent for people who sweat easily and athletes becuse it quickly absorbs moisture and evaporates it away from the body.

The sense of modal underwear is unique. When you wear it at the beginning you sense the "touch" the soft fabric and then feel that probably forgot to put underwear. Please note that there is a lot different types of micromodal fabric in the market, not all suitable for underwear . If you want the best micromodal underwear, you can view our collection here.

The Slip Getting Started from the middle, usually with narrow tires and last but this has changed and extended up over the buttocks. There are several types of trunks:

* The Classic Brief with a front opening, serves to easy access.
* Modern Brief. Without the front open, with less cover on the side.
* Tanga. No cover with fabric side only front and rear.
* String. Only the front covered with cloth and a vertical stripe fabric close behind.
* G-String. Only the front cover with a cloth and string at the back.
* Jock Strap. Only the front cover with cloth. Wide elastic at the waist. Two rubbers start at the side going back and finishing at the bottom of the front fabric.

The materials which make an underwear should ensure absorption and ventilation simultaneously. The proper selection of raw materials combined with quality of sewing ensures that the skin can breathe and that the environment is not suitable for fungal growth.

There is other natural fibers exept cotton?

E-mail Print PDF

But of course!

Modal, Viscose and Bamboo are also natural. But to produce those fibbers we need to go thou a lot of chemical procedures.

They are made from cellulose from trees and other plants. They have different attributes then cotton (for example modal is 3 times more soft), better durability in washing and ironing. Defenetly cotton is pure natural

How you can tell witch underwear has better quality?

E-mail Print PDF
Truly is really easy to know when something has better quality then another. You just need to check the right spots. For example if you need to select tomatos you would look at color, texture and last the taste. The better product comes from the better producer.

There is two way to compare. In a lab and with experience...
Lab isn't available when we buy underwear we can just check the basic and same time the most important attributes. We can check the texture, the look, the colour and the weight.
The texture is about cotton. Is the result of carefully production and carefully selection of row material. It must be rich and pleasure in your hands. Same time the fabric must be soft at touch and elastic when you stretch it.

Last but not least, the weight is something more to understand the value of the item. The more weight is in the fabric the more cotton you get. More cotton = more durability in time, washing and absorbency
